The ultimate heavy-duty handlebar – not only for dirt bikes, but also for street and muscle bikes. Compensates for annoying flexing of the steering tube and offers significantly more reserves in extreme situations.
Made of high-quality aluminium (2014 T6 – extremely durable). The conical tapering (diameter: 28.6 mm) from the clamping area to the ends almost doubles the flexural rigidity against deformation. The diameter at the outer flanks is 22 mm. Available in a stylish sandblasted finish (black anodised) or highly polished (gold anodised).

As part of an individual or modification approval at a technical institute (e.g. TÜV, Dekra), you can of course also mount the handlebars on other models, if possible, and have them entered in the vehicle documents. Please order the corresponding handlebar clamps for installation separately if necessary (see ‘Suitable articles’).
Note: The accessory handlebars are supplied without a hole for locking the switch unit. These are positioned differently depending on the motorcycle model. It is permissible to drill the handlebar for the lock: To do this, align your new handlebar optimally with the vehicle. Now mount the switch units, check that they are free to move towards the tank when the steering is fully turned, mark the hole for the lock and drill the handlebar to the appropriate diameter. If you want to avoid the drill slipping off the smooth steering tube when converting the handlebars, or if you tend to ‘go wrong’ when centre-punching or somehow always drill crookedly into the workpiece, you should use the LSL drilling template, order no. 10005264 (see ‘Matching articles’) – better safe than sorry, with this template such mistakes cannot happen.

Water and salt encourage corrosion. After cleaning (e.g. with Procycle Special Gel Cleaner, Order no. 10004909), we recommend regularly polishing aluminium parts with standard aluminium polish (e.g. Alu-Magic, Order no. 10004031).

Accessoires met ABE hoeven niet in de voertuigpapieren te worden opgenomen. Wie echter niet steeds het rapport mee wil nemen, kan bijv. door de TÜV (tegen betaling) een registratie laten uitvoeren.
Wanneer de accessoires op een voertuig worden gebruikt dat niet in de ABE staat vermeld, is hiervoor een afzonderlijke goedkeuring vereist. De stevigheid en verkeersveiligheid van het product zelf wordt met de ABE aangetoond, maar over de bruikbaarheid op het voertuig moet de keurder op basis van zijn vakkennis beslissen.
Een elektrische step met ABE beschikt over een Duitse typegoedkeuring die aangeeft dat het betreffende voertuig aan alle goedkeuringsrelevante voorwaarden van de Duitse verordening voor kleine elektrische voertuigen (eKFV - Elektrokleinstfahrzeuge-Verordnung) voldoet. Aanvullend geldt een verzekeringsplicht en een verbod om de elektrische steps op voetpaden te gebruiken. Hiermee mag uitsluitend op fietspaden en op de weg worden gereden (als er geen fietspad aanwezig is). De minimale leeftijd voor de besturing van een elektrische step bedraagt 14 jaar. Een rijbewijs en het dragen van een helm is niet verplicht, maar wordt wel dringend aangeraden. Er mag maar één persoon met de elektrische step rijden.
